    It鈥檚 never easy to identify the one senior 鈥渨hose character, scholarship, sportsmanship, and service to others best exemplify the spirit that is Colgate,鈥 and yet every year there can be only one recipient of the 1819 Award. The 2012 winner was Victor Krivitski 鈥12, who passed away last August after an eight-month fight with cancer.

Murphy 鈥77, president and CEO of the Green Bay Packers and former football captain and athletics director at Colgate, will deliver the keynote address at Colgate鈥檚 191st commencement on Sunday.
