ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ is closing the books on a record-setting 2020–21 fundraising year, thanks to the generosity of Colgate alumni and other supporters.

Members of the ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ classes of 2022–25 will now benefit from an additional expansion of the University’s no-loan initiative under the Colgate Commitment.

On June 1, ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ announced the Colgate Commitment: An Initiative in Access and Affordability.

To commemorate the legacy and life of civil rights leader Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the Africana, Latin, Asian, and Native American (ALANA) Cultural Center organized a 10-day series of events in collaboration with offices and departments across campus.

One vital element of a Colgate education is access to award-winning Career Services support. More than 230 second-year students leveraged that access during the University’s annual SophoMORE Connections event, which was held virtually, January 5–19. 

Daniel Benton ’80, P’10, H’10 has secured his place as Colgate’s most generous benefactor, making a $25 million gift in support of the University’s Middle Campus Plan for Arts, Creativity, and Innovation and other elements within The Third-Century Plan.

ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ announced the creation of two endowed faculty chairs that will support teaching and research in areas important to The Third-Century Plan.

Filmmaker Julie Cohen ’86 has found joy in documenting the lives of women, making her an ideal guest speaker during Colgate’s yearlong 50th anniversary celebration of coeducation.
